Curriculum vitae

Degree with honours in Biology at the University of Pavia and PhD Degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology at the same University. Awarded by an EMBO Short-Term Fellowship and subsequently guest scientist (EU-funded) at the “John Innes” Centre for Plant Science Research, Norwich, UK (1991). She is now Associate Professor in Plant Physiology, Department of Biology and Biotechnology-University of Pavia. Head of the Plant Biotechnology Group in the same Department. Main research topics: role of DNA repair in the plant response to abiotic stress, molecular profiling of seed quality.
