Curriculum vitae

Graduated in Chemistry at the University of Pavia on July 25th 1972 and worked as researcher at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Pavia .in the period 1972-1973. He became Assistant Professor at the Chair of Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, in 1974 and, since 1985 is Associate Professor at the Department of Biology and Biotechnologies of the Faculty of Science, After having been involved for years in a number of national and international research projects on the purification and characterization of enzymes and structural proteins, his present research activity is mainly focused on the investigation of the proteome of different tissues/fluids by using the classical methods of proteomics i.e. 2-DE /MS and LC-MS/MS. He is the author/co-author of 110 peer-reviewed publications on international journals and recipient of fundings (as principal investigator or co-investigator) from national and international organisms.
